Many months later, buried in research, Dave developed the KISS strategy as a reliable entry technique to trade across asset-classes and timeframes.

HOW TO TRADE THE KISS STRATEGY

Entry, Stop LOSS & Exit

Short trade: Enter when price touches or pierces the upper Bollinger Band and the Vertex momentum indicator is at +6 or higher. A valid reversal bar must form (makes a new high but closes near its low, e.g. a pin bar).
Stop loss: Place just beyond the reversal bar’s high (for shorts) or low (for longs), with an optional offset (e.g. +1 point/pip).
Long trade: Enter when price touches or pierces the lower Bollinger Band and the Vertex momentum indicator is at –6 or lower. A valid reversal bar must form (makes a new low but closes near its high).
Exit (discretionary management): Positions can be closed at xR (risk-reward multiple), near the middle Bollinger Band, when the Vertex inverts (from –6 to +6 or +6 to –6), or if the opposite Bollinger Band is reached.
